Delaware North Australia is hiring an experienced Activities Manager to oversee all marine and tourism activities at our stunning Lizard Island Resort. The Activities Manager will ensure the safe and efficient operation of these activities while creating unforgettable experiences for our guests. As the Activities Manager, you'll lead a team, manage resources, and maintain the highest standards in one of the most beautiful locations on the Great Barrier Reef. What you will do?

  • Develop, plan, and manage all marine activities, including snorkeling, scuba diving, fishing, and more
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of staff and guests during all activities, following all safety protocols
  • Coordinate and oversee tourism activities, including island tours and cultural experiences
  • Hire, train, and lead a team to deliver exceptional service to guests
  • Maintain equipment and facilities to ensure they are in excellent working condition

More about you

  • Bachelor's degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Marine Science, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience managing activities in a hospitality or tourism setting
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
  • In-depth knowledge of marine and tourism activities, including safety regulations
  • Relevant certifications such as PADI Dive Master, Coxswain Grade 1, and First Aid
