The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring culinary staff for an exciting event in Darwin. Join the team to be part of the MXGP experience, assisting with the smooth running of one of the most anticipated Australian motorsport events.

 

Positions available include:

  • Cooks
  • Chef de Parties
  • Kitchenhands


Location: Hidden Valley Motorsports Complex, Darwin
Event Date: From 19 - 21 September 2025. Bump in shifts are available from 15 – 18 September.

What you will do?

  • Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ensure all menu items consistently meet presentation and quality standards
  • Maintain strict compliance with kitchen hygiene, food safety, WHS and HACCP requirements
  • Assist with daily food preparation, stock rotation and equipment upkeep
  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness and hygiene to require standard

More about you

  • Experience in maintaining a safe and hygienic kitchen environment
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
  • Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced kitchen environments
  • Demonstrated ability to operate in line with WHS and HACCP standards
  • Availability to work flexible event hours, both AM and PM shifts available
