Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Cage Cashier Shift Manager to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As the allocated senior, you will be responsible for supervising staff and for the overall daily management of a designated shift in the Cage and Count team.  If you are a motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail, we would love to hear from you.

• Oversee cage operations whilst on shift, including cash handling, chip transactions, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Supervise cage staff ensuring proper training, performance management, and scheduling to maintain efficient operations and high service standards
• Review and balance daily cash and chip transactions, identify discrepancies, and ensure accurate financial reporting and reconciliation is executed
• Ensure excellent customer service for both internal and external stakeholders, resolving disputes or issues promptly and professionally, reporting any unresolved issues directly to the Cage Manager
• Investigate variances (positive and negative)

• Demonstrated experience in a supervisory or managerial role
• Experience in a casino cage or bank, in a cash handling capacity
• Degree qualified in accounting or similar discipline highly desirable, with a strong mathematical ability
• Demonstrated knowledge of gaming systems and the ability to understand and interpret gaming rules and regulations
• Ability to obtain and maintain a NT Casino Operative License
• Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gaming Certification
