The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Technology Support Analyst to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Technology Support Analyst, you will be responsible for providing efficient and effective IT service and problem resolution for technical hardware, software, and cloud issues including point of sale, desktops, servers, laptops, mobiles, printers, switches, email, and applications. This is a full-time, 8-month contract position.

What you will do?

  • Act as a key escalation point for issues within the business and the main escalation point for the support team 
  • Provide first-class technical and escalation support for the business and technical support team 
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various platforms, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to the IT infrastructure and support processes 
  • Maintain detailed documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and best practices to enhance the knowledge base and support efficiency 

More about you

  • Tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline
  • Experience in a level 2-3 position within IT with a background in technical support or system administration  
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with a strong service focus  
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working on incident, problem management, or system administration in the IT industry including point of sale such as Agilysys InfoGenesis, Windows Server, Windows-based PCs, laptops, O365, Windows10, Active Directory, Exchange, VMWare and Virtualization support, AWS, Storage, Veeam backups, hospitality systems, and network devices 
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Service of Gaming Certificates
  • Casino Operative Licence
