What you will do?

  • Oversee and support the management of all function operations, including event day functions, briefings, and VIP events, ensuring seamless execution
  • Ensure prompt and efficient service delivery for all functions, adhering to predetermined standards and procedures to provide an exceptional guest experience
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance guest experiences, identify revenue opportunities, and position MCG Events as a market leader
  • Uphold and maintain the highest customer service standards, adhering to protocols and ensuring exceptional service levels at all times
  • Participate in non-event day operations during peak times, supporting the Functions Manager and overall event success 

More about you

  • Proven leadership experience in a function or banquet environment  
  • Ability to mentor, train, and develop a team of hospitality professionals  
  • Enthusiasm for delivering outstanding service, adaptability in fast-paced environments, and a commitment to creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests  
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as event schedules dictate  
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate
