The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a newly created role for a full time Manager – Workforce Planning to join our head office team based in Docklands. Reporting to the Director Commercial Finance, we’re searching for a data driven and commercially minded individual to lead workforce strategies across our diverse Australian and New Zealand operations. This role is perfect for someone with a strong background in analytics, operations, and stakeholder engagement who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What you will do?

  • Lead strategic workforce planning aligned to business growth and event demand
  • Use forecasting and predictive analytics to shape staffing models
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and Operational leaders to drive labour efficiency
  • Develop real-time dashboards and reporting tools to monitor workforce performance
  • Deliver insights that support productivity, compliance, and cost control

More about you

You’re a natural collaborator with a sharp analytical mind. You’ll bring:

  • Strong experience in workforce planning across large-scale organisations
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing workforce planning strategies that drive efficiencies and cost savings
  • Strong background in data analytics, workforce forecasting, and resource optimisation
  • Experience in leading large-scale workforce projects, change management and organisational transformational initiatives
  • Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, Workday, time and attendance systems (ideally with Humanforce)
  • The ability to influence, challenge, and support stakeholders at all levels
  • A tertiary qualification in business, data science, operations, or similar
