You’ll be part of our fast-paced and high-volume operation, primarily working across Coopers Alehouse and our Production Kitchen, delivering exceptional food and service to to thousands of travellers every day.

What you will do?

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen environment

  • Ensure all dishes meet presentation and quality standards

  • Uphold kitchen hygiene, food safety, WHS and HACCP compliance

  • Assist with daily prep, stock rotation, and equipment maintenance

  • Work collaboratively within a team to ensure efficient service during peak periods

  • Support a clean, organised and safe working environment

  • Flexibly work across a rotating roster including weekdays, weekends, and public holidays

Chef de Partie - Elevated Responsibilities

  • Act as second-in-charge to the Head Chef

  • Provide supervision and support across all back-of-house departments

  • Manage ordering, stock control, and kitchen administration

  • Lead sections during service and assist with training junior kitchen staff

More about you

  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (mandatory)
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced kitchens
  • Proven ability to work within WHS and HACCP guidelines
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and time management skills
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to lead or support a team under pressure
  • Flexibility to work across a 7-day roster including weekends and public holidays
  • Experience with ordering, stock control, and kitchen admin (Chef de Partie)

 

Competitive remuneration on offer

  • Chef de Partie: $73,210 + superannuation 
  • Demi Chef: $71,312 + superannuation
