The opportunity

Delaware North Australia has an exciting newly created Training Specialist to support the Operations Team on-site at Marvel Stadium.

 

The Training Specialist will be responsible for the designing, implementing and overseeing the training programs that enhance both technical skills and customer service excellence.

What you will do?

  • Develop, implement, and continuously evaluate comprehensive training programs tailored to different hospitality departments
  • Collaborate with operational managers to design training content that balances technical skills and customer service excellence, ensuring alignment with department objectives and elevated hospitality standards
  • Foster a positive learning culture, encouraging engagement, participation, and constructive feedback during training sessions
  • Provide hands-on training on equipment, operational tools, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure team proficiency
  • Utilize Delaware North’s LMS platform, digital training tools, and e-learning solutions to facilitate continuous learning and development

More about you

  • Proven experience in hospitality training, preferably in stadiums, arenas, or large event venues
  • Strong background in food & beverage operations, customer service, or event management is a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse teams
  • Experience in creating and delivering training programs and materials
  • Knowledge of hospitality systems and software
  • Certification in training or instructional design is a plus
