The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is seeking a casual Storeperson to join our team at Adelaide Airport. As a Storeperson, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day functioning of our warehouse.

 

Reporting to the Head Chef, you'll be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of storage areas, ensuring goods are received, stored and delivered in line with internal procedures and HACCP and Food Safety standards.

What you will do?

  • Manage the inward and outward dispatch of goods including temperature testing and quality control
  • Oversee stock rotation and accurate stock control
  • Ensure cleanliness of all cool rooms and associated stores areas
  • Uphold tight security of all stock by ensuring compliance of all store procedures by operational departments
  • Match delivery invoices to purchase orders, highlighting any discrepancies   

More about you

  • Experience within a stores or warehousing environment
  • Food Safety Certificate
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work a weekday roster
