Delaware North Australia have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Food and Beverage Manager to join our Retail team onsite at Marvel Stadium.

This role will be responsible for assisting in planning and managing the delivery of the food and beverage activities of the sizable Retail operation for major events including concerts and AFL matches.

Supporting and leading key retail operational activities, the Retail Management team ensure that their staff are engaged and well prepared to exceed our guest’s expectations, while positioning Delaware North as a quality driven provider of food and beverage catering services.

• Assist in the coordination of the Retail Food and Beverage operational activities to achieve seamless and profitable delivery of events
• Deliver both memorable guest experiences and operational success
• Utilises interpersonal and communication skills to lead, support and encourage the wider Retail Team
• Work within business targets including stock control and labour
• Support the provision of premium food and beverage

• Event planning and management experience highly regarded
• Experienced across Retail in large-scale hospitality environments and/or Quick Service Restaurants
• Relevant experience leading across a sizable operation with multiple outlets
• Previous experience leading, coaching and developing large teams with exposure to conflict resolution
• Knowledge or experience in stock take activities
• Understanding of labour controls and food cost management
• RSA Certificate
