What you will do?

  • Prepare and cook food to a consistently high standard
  • Maintain presentation and portion control across dishes
  • Follow strict food safety and hygiene procedures
  • Support stock rotation and kitchen inventory
  • Be a dependable support to the Head Chef and broader kitchen team

Physical requirements

  • Previous experience as a Commis Chef or similar position
  • Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery
  • Solid understanding of kitchen operations and a passion for great food
  • Confident working independently when needed
  • Proven ability to help meet food and labor cost targets
  • Flexibility to work across mornings, days, nights, and weekends
