The opportunity

Delaware North New Zealand is hiring a Housekeeping Manager to join their team at Pinewood Lodge in Queenstown. As a Housekeeping Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high standards across the Lodge. The Housekeeping Manager will lead and supervise the housekeeping team to ensure the cleanliness and safety of guest rooms and public areas. What we offer

  • Salary range ($70,000 - $75,000 per annum salary)
  • Permanent Full Time (Minimum 30 hours per week)
  • Delaware North are accredited to offer sponsorship to foreign applicants

What you will do?

  • Oversee team tasks and delegate responsibilities
  • Monitor stock control of mini bars, cleaning products, and linen
  • Supervise, train, and develop team members
  • Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety procedures
  • Inspect rooms to meet cleanliness standards and assist with guest inquiries

More about you

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in hotel management or a related field
  • Extensive knowledge of the housekeeping or cleaning industry
  • Strong computer literacy skillsExperience in organising periodical cleans
  • Ability to work a rotating roster, including mornings, evenings, public holidays, and weekends
