The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is now hiring a full-time Electrician to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. As the onsite Electrician, you will be responsible for maintaining the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings alongside other members of the Property Services team. Join our team as an Electrician and bring your expertise to our projects, ensuring safety and efficiency every step of the way.

What you will do?

  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and daily maintenance tasks for all property equipment and services, ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations
  • Repair, alter, and maintain site electrical services and equipment in a safe and efficient manner
  • Coordinate with the Property Manager to ensure proper maintenance of all plant and equipment, including recording completed and incomplete maintenance tasks and generating necessary reports
  • Conduct small projects and address daily maintenance needs across the property to uphold operational efficiency
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities, including adherence to preventative schedules and compliance with workplace health and safety standards

More about you

  • Unrestricted Electrical Trade License required and previous experience in a similar role
  • Electrical Contractor License applicable to the Northern Territory
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to communicate with various stakeholders in the business
  • Capable of working autonomously as well as part of a team
