The opportunity

Delaware North Australia is seeking a full time Marketing Manager to lead and execute innovative marketing strategies for our accommodation business across Australia and New Zealand. Based in head office (Docklands), this role will play a pivotal part in driving brand awareness, revenue growth, and customer engagement.

 

You’ll collaborate with internal teams, property level stakeholders, and external agencies to create compelling campaigns that showcase the unique experiences across our accommodation businesses and resort. From digital marketing and social media to traditional advertising and events, you’ll ensure all marketing efforts align with the brand identity and resonate with the target audience.

 

This position supports our accommodation business in Queenstown and Sydney, with a primary focus on Lizard Island, an exclusive luxury resort in Far North Queensland.

What you will do?

  • Lead marketing strategy for Delaware North’s accommodation business, driving revenue and brand growth.
  • Create high-impact campaigns for accommodation, dining, spa, and resort experiences.
  • Build partnerships with media and third-party operators to boost direct bookings.
  • Analyse trends & consumer behaviour to inform data-driven strategies.
  • Oversee content & digital marketing across websites, ads, and social media.
  • Optimise CRM & personalisation to enhance audience engagement.
  • Manage budgets & performance metrics, ensuring strong ROI.
  • Ensure compliance with brand, security, and social media policies.

 

More about you

  • Strong understanding of field marketing, demand generation, brand development, content generation, consumer journey mapping, CRM, SEM/SEO, digital advertising, and marketing analytics. 
  • A strong relationship manager, who can successfully collaborate with local and global teams.
  • Experience in overseeing a marketing budget and the ability to identify cost effective channels.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline.
  • Previous or current experience within the Travel and Hospitality industry.
