Human Resources Partner Operations, Auckland Airport

Delaware North New Zealand is seeking a part-time Human Resources Partner – Operations to join our team, based at Auckland Airport. This pivotal role oversees HR operations across our New Zealand portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Manager Human Resources, this role will focus on supporting the operations team on a day to day basis to enable the team to deliver excellence in our service while optimising a culture of collaboration and team member engagement.

You’ll provide functional advice to operational teams, be the go-to for team member queries, support the embedding HR policies, processes and initiatives and assist in execution of the enterprise and local HR and business strategies.

• Act as the HR advisor to General Managers, providing support on performance management, investigations and workforce planning.
• Manage immigration processes to ensure compliance for a diverse and global workforce.
• Build collaborative relationships with operational leaders, influencing strategic HR outcomes.
• Ensure adherence to employment laws and company policies, particularly in employee relations and investigations.
• Support business goals by designing and implementing HR initiatives tailored to operational needs.
• Navigate and thrive in a matrix environment, balancing multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Occasional domestic and international travel. 

• Proven expertise in immigration, performance management and conducting investigations
• Experience working closely with General Managers and senior leadership, with strong influencing skills
• Knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation and HR best practices
• A self-starter mindset, capable of managing your tasks independently and driving initiatives
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources (preferred)
• Experience in retail, hospitality or FMCG (preferred) 

Salary on Offer

• circa NZD 90,000 pro rata
