Delaware North Australia is hiring a General Manager based at our Mindil Breach Casino Resort (MBCR) in Darwin. MBCR is owned and operated by Delaware North, a leader in hospitality with a portfolio spanning across sporting stadiums, airports, leisure, and entertainment venues globally.

Reporting to the Delaware North Chief Operating Officer, we have an opportunity for a high calibre professional to lead the compliance, people, and commercial growth of our stunning property. • Oversee a seamless entertainment operation with compliance, people, results, and customer experience driving success.
• Responsible for managing overall budget and revenue targets.
• Implement strategic initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience, profitability, and operational efficiency.
• Lead, motivate, and inspire senior leaders and a sizable and diverse workforce.
• Ensure appropriate resourcing requirements to achieve a balance between operational effectiveness and financial success.
• Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Build and manage relationships with internal business partners and external stakeholders including relevant industry groups.
• Oversee property compliance, role modelling effective and low risk operations.
• Build effective relationships with regulatory bodies and senior government stakeholders.
• Create guest experiences that differentiate and positively reflect the offerings of MBCR through innovation and industry direction.

• Proven experience as a General Manager with a broad background including hospitality and gaming (Casino) experience.
• Expertise in Gaming compliance overseeing successful operations with assurance to risk mitigation.
• Exceptional financial acumen, with a successful track record in driving profitability and achieving targets.
• A strategic thinker with an innovative mindset, capable of identifying opportunities for growth and implementing effective solutions.
• A senior executive adept in leading and mentoring large teams.
• The ability to navigate strong relationships, knowing how to successfully pivot style and communication to diverse audiences.
• The ability to support a large workforce through authentic leadership and care initiatives.
• Education: bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business or legal or a related discipline. A master's degree is advantageous.
