The Opportunity

Delaware North Australia is hiring a Property Services Officer to join their team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. As a Property Services Officer, you will work closely with the Property Services team to maintain the building, equipment, and facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and reactive maintenance tasks, including light globe replacement, TV repairs, small painting touch-ups, and drain unblocking
  • Ensure all work meets five-star standards throughout the complex
  • Assist tradespeople with capital works as needed
  • Communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Adhere to environmental standards and contribute to improving property methods and standards

What will you bring?

  • Proven experience in a general trades or maintenance role
  • Knowledge of engineering building systems, Work Health & Safety, and legal compliance regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work independently
  • Experience in a hotel or 5-star customer service environment is preferred
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
