Finance Specialist, Auckland Airport

Delaware North New Zealand is seeking a full time Finance Specialist to join the team at Auckland Airport.

Reporting to the Regional Management Accountant, this position will manage, monitor and lead the finance activities on site to produce accurate and timely financial reports including accounts receivable, payable, payroll, data entry and report functions.

The role is also responsible for analysing and providing feedback in relation to the financial performance to assist in achieving financial plan, profit margins and business growth whilst building the brand and client reputation.

• Responsible for account receivable activities & order to cash / billing functions
• Oversee daily cash management and inventory management processes
• Monitor purchase to pay (accounts payable) functions and payment systems
• Assist in preparing accurate financial reports & month end reporting
• Support and help maintain business relationships with clients, landlords, franchise partners, suppliers and guests
• Ensure compliance with all Delaware North policies and procedures in particular for cash handling, inventory, assets, payroll, personnel records and other relevant controls 

• Qualification in Accounting/Finance
• Strong business acumen and financial skills
• Attention to detail in reporting and analysis
• Strong Computer skills and ability to pick up systems
• Experience in the hospitality sector (retail food and beverage and/or the corporate catering industry), highly regarded
